IRELAND'S largest ever international print show will be seen in Dublin's cultural quarter this winter, writes Luke Clancy, when the Temple Bar International Print Show gets underway on October 17th. The show will include an open submission section of Irish printmakers and an invited section, featuring artists from Finland, Austria, Sweden, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland.area, and flags commissioned from various international artists will fly along the Liffey.

The show of Irish work, which will be exhibited at the Temple Bar Gallery, will be selected by Roberta Wadell, curator of Prints at New York Public Library. Irish artists wishing to submit should do so between 15th - 20th July. Tel: 01 6710073.

Also planned for October, in Belfast, is Europe Rediscovered III - The Bridge, an international art exhibition featuring work by more than 100 artists from 38 countries, including a large number of Irish artists. The Bridge will happen in various venues, as well as in the streets, and will be curated by Nikki Diana Marquardt. Marquardt's Paris gallery has just hosted Language, Mapping and Power, a group show of Irish artist presented as part of L'Imaginaire Irlandais.
