STEPHEN O'SULLIVAN of the Bray Coors team held on to his lead to take the overall honours in the five day race promoted by Dublin Wheelers and sponsored by Dublin Bus.

The final stage in the Phoenix Park last evening went to Colm Bracken but O'Sullivan was safely in sixth place and emerged best overall by eight seconds from Christopher Kimmage with Willie Byrne third.

The stage was over 10 laps of the two miles circuit and then another mile to the finish outside the Garda Depot. There were 32 involved in the charge to the line and Bracken led the way chased by Paul Reid and Kimmage.
