Nightflight celebrate two years on the go with a brace of 21st-century cosmic disco dons. Norwegian producers Todd Terje (below, left) and Prins Thomas (below, right) have sent Irish dancefloors loopy in the past, so Nighflight’s idea to pair them up for this birthday bash is a stroke of genius. Terje’s re-edits and remixes have pushed him into the limelight, though his own tracks, such as Eurodans, are just as alluring. His soundboard is a wide and deep one, stretching from funky house to tech-disco. Thomas Moen Hermansen aka Prins Thomas, meanwhile, has been a prolific figure on release schedules over the past few years (chiefly in cahoots with Hans-Peter Lindstrom), but only got around to releasing his debut solo album this year. That self-titled album was a considerable wow, Thomas diving into the deepest cosmic disco waters to search out primetime boogie music for space cadets and astronauts.
