Oasis fans will count the days till August 18th, the official release date for the band's third album, Be Here Now. Oasis have recorded 15 songs and they'll choose 11 of those for the final tracklisting. Internet fans aren't too thrilled, however, about Sony's recent move to close down unofficial web sites which carry copyrighted Oasis lyrics, sound-files and photographs.

Noel Gallagher's mate Paul Weller celebrates his 20th year in music with a new album, Heavy Soul, out on June 30th. Weller is now signed to Independiente records.
