DOUBL'N Babble On, an innovative theatrical event takes place in Newman House, Dublin, tonight and tomorrow night. The evening, which is as much a theatrical installation as a mini festival of Samuel Beckett plays, will see a company of actors and musicians performing in every available corner of the magnificent Stephen's Green building. During the nights, visitors will be encouraged to wander between continuous performances of Beckett's Rockaby, Ohio Impromptu, Footfalls and Come and Go, as well as attend a concert of Edwardian chamber music while sipping wine and looking out across Stephen's Green.
The evenings will culminate in a performance of Beckett's Catastrophe in the Aula Maxima. The first performances start at 8pm and tickets for the event (which include admission to all plays and music, as well as refreshments) are available at the door, price £20.
