Dublin-based Nina Simone fans are spoiled for choice over the next week, as two tribute shows to the music icon are taking place in the capital.

Jazz-punk singer Jaime Nanci will perform his Jaime Nanci Sings the Nina Simone Songbook show at the Odessa Club tonight with his backing band The Blue Boys, while Cork-via-Chicago jazz vocalist Karen Underwood will play her Singing Nina show at the Olympia tonight.
