The Young Hearts Run Free series continues tomorrow night with The Newness Is Every Stale Thing at The Co-Op in Dublin’s Newmarket Square from 7.30pm until late. The collective is run by Siobhán Kane and raises money for homeless charity the Simon Community by hosting performance and art nights throughout the year, often in unusual locations.

Performers across two stages include Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, David Kitt, The Yeh Deadlies and Porn on Vinyl, while there'll be DJ sets from various people, including Twin Shadow.

Donal Dineen will also be on hand to interview renowned Donegal fiddler Tommy Peoples of The Bothy Band.

"I suppose it's like a mixture of a country dance and an underground rave," said Kane. "It's an old-fashioned kind of a night, with a diverse billing that is always quality-led.

"When I set up the collective it was to include as much interesting music and stuff as possible, and to move away from the usual venues." Admission is €15 on the door. Attendees are encouraged to BYOB (and cake).
