Pavilion, Cork Tomorrow 9pm 20 021-4276230
Kerri Chandler and Cork go way back. Legendary appearances at Sweat in Sir Henry’s, during the years when that club was in its pomp, established his Lee rep as the producer with the deepest, sweetest basslines.
Ever since he first popped up on the radar (and the New Jersey native has been spinning records since he was a 13-year-old hopper tagging along with his jazzer dad to gigs), Chandler (pictured) has been a prolific producer, with releases to his name down the years for such labels as King Street and Ibadan. More recently, Chandler has continued this roll, with a slew of raw underground sounds for Max Trax and Grei Matter showing he hasn’t lost his touch when it comes to deep, soulful house music rooted in classic black sounds and positive spiritual vibes. Support from Chandler’s longstanding Cork champions Fish Go Deep.
