Meanwhile, the first What If, Why Not? festival will take place in Galway on November 23rd and 24th. Predominantly a film festival that will screen adventure sports documentaries, there will also be live music by independent bands and artists including Benny Smiles, Autonomous I, Social Welfare and Nicholas Timothy. The festival has also enlisted a number of Irish acts to make their songs available for filmmakers to use in their projects free of charge, via whatifwhynotfestival.com.
