Meet 19-year-old Dubliner Lia Wright, who is accompanying Aonghus McNally on the violin in a new musical called When Jolie Met Christie, about the life of singer songwriter Christy Hennessy.
It’s at axis Ballymun at 8pm every evening until next Saturday, March 12th and a lot of well-known names are conjured up in the making of this show, which includes music inspired by Al Jolson and a set designed by Robert Ballagh. But Wright’s vocals and violin are likely to pluck merrily at your heartstrings.
