As always, there’s a full dance-card for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The busiest night is St Stephen’s Day, with Shine (where Erol Alkan and Jaymo & Andy top the bill) and Planetlove’s trance wonderland (starring Afrojack, Gareth Emery, Marco V, Dash Berlin, Showtek and more) the main draws in Belfast.

That night also see Today FM’s Small Hours guru Donal Dineen bring his live show to The Pav in Cork, while Irish hard-house champ John O’Callaghan at Tripod and the Pogo special at the Twisted Pepper are the picks of the bunch in the big smoke.

Other highlights over the week include a hometown gig for deep house don John Daly (tonight, Cork), a rescheduled date for Skream (Tues, Dublin), a seasonal outing for Mór Disco (Tues, Cork) and the Sketchy Xmas hooley starring international rock star Gary Lightbody (right) on the decks (tonight, Belfast).
