ACTOR Peter Weller, who last month quit as the director of the art world thriller, Incognito, has been placed by John Badham, who previously stepped in successfully when the directors of Saturday Night Fever and War Games stepped out. Incognito stars Jason Patric and Irene Jacob. Meanwhile, Jason Patric himself has been cast to replace Keanu Reeves in Jan De Bont's Speed 2, which starts shooting in the autumn with Sandra Bullock co starring.

Martin Campbell, who directed GoldenEye, has been signed to replace Robert Rodrigeuz as the director of Zorro, starring Antonio Banderas. Leon Ichaso has taken over from documentary maker Nick Broomfield as director of the Joe Esztehas scripted Original Sin, which stars Jon Bon Jovi and Gina Gherson.
