DRUMS will be holding its April auction next Thursday evening from 7 p.m. in the company's Malahide salesrooms.
The principal item included is a mahogany centre bowed sideboard with boxwood stringing on two tapered pedestal supports with brass claw feet and lion mask handles. From a house on Dublin's North Great George's Street it measures seven foot in length and carries an estimate of £2,500-3,500.
Another mahogany mid Victorian sideboard with four doors, shaped back and applied decoration is expected to make £800-1,200. Also in this sale; a Georgian bow fronted chest of drawers with satinwood string inlay carries an estimate of £500-800.
