THE 46th Berlin International Film Festival opened last night with the European premiere of Ang Lee's Sense And Sensibility and closes on Monday week with the world premiere of Paul Mazursky's long delayed Faithful written by Chazz Palminteri, who costars in it with Cher and Ryan O'Neal. Both films are among the 24 in competition at Berlin, along with Stephen Frears's similarly long delayed Mary Reilly, Jodie Foster's Home For The Holidays, and Bo Widerberg's Oscar nominated All Things Fair.
