Niall Ó Sioradain got in touch about the price of Empire magazine. In Dublin alone he found it ranged from €5.35 to €6. So we checked the price of Cosmopolitan, another widely available magazine, to see if variations were common.

Aaron Peacham e-mailed PriceWatch to highlight the difference in the cost of golf clubs in Ireland and the US.
He found they were more than 50 per cent more expensive on this side of the Atlantic. A Titleist 983k driver that costs 350 in the US retails for 540 here, for example. A set of Titleist 690 irons costs €639 there but 990 in Ireland. And an Odyssey 2-ball putter sells for €239 here but just €140 there.
It sounds as if we're getting another raw deal.
