Limerick auctioneer John Dunphy is offering a set of Giant Irish deer antlers for sale in his forthcoming auction of the contents of Pella House, Kilrush, Co Clare.

The antlers, which were found at Carrigoholt, Co Clare, are thought to be up to 12,000 years old.

They measure an impressive 11 feet wide, and Mr Dunphy estimates that they will fetch £2,000 to £3,000 at auction on March 25th.
