A Georgian mahogany slopefront bookcase was the top selling lot at Mullens's sale at Woodbrook, Bray, last Monday evening, fetching under the hammer.
A Victorian walnut side cabinet, lot 177, sold for £2,600, against a top estimate of £3,500, a French kin wood breakfront side cabinet with marble top made £2,000, again well short of its top estimate; an Edwardian mahogany slopefront bureau sold for £1,950; and a Hepplewhite style mahogany dining table made £1,900.
A Victorian mahogany two door bookcase fetched £1,400 (estimate £600-£800) and a handsome William IV mahogany circular pod table made £950.
