MORE than £100,000 in cash and cheques was recovered gardai yesterday after a raid on the AIB Bank on Crumlin Road in Dublin was foiled.
The robbery took place at 3.55 p.m., when a man in his mid 20s attacked a man from a security company making a delivery and fled with a bag of cash and cheques.
The man was arrested five minutes later by two gardai who were passing in a patrol car and chased him on foot for 150 yards.
