Bioware is back with a sequel to Dragon Age: Origins, and things have changed. This time you take on the role of Hawk, who fled during the events of Origins. You are stuck with the race, family and background assigned to the character, but can change appearance, class and gender. The dialogue system in Originshas been replaced by a "wheel" system that leaves you in no doubt as to the attitude of the response – aggressive, for example. The developers have also added new combat experiences and spells. DAIIgives the illusion of choice.
While some will affect your game path, others have less influence. Overall, it seems that certain elements of the game have been simplified a little too much.
DAIIdoesn't quite live up to the original, but it was a tough act to follow.
