A Dublin man injured in a house fire in Ranelagh was recovering in St James's Hospital yesterday. Mr James Scanlan (22) received second degree burns in the fire at his flat at Beechwood Avenue early on Friday morning. A hospital spokeswoman described his condition as comfortable.
