Now Sony Pictures has decided that we’re not expected to know about myths of the early Caesars.
“Nero Fiddled, while an appropriate and humorous phrase in the US, is not a familiar expression overseas,” a spokesperson said. As of noon today, the picture, which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Alec Baldwin, is trading as To Rome With Love. Watch this space.
