Beirut is set to host its first Irish Film Week. The season, which runs from February 29th until March 4th at the city's Metropolis Art Cinema, will feature such films as The Butcher Boy, Hunger, Breakfast on Plutoand Bernadette: Notes on a Political Journey. The season is part of an initiative named Worlds Alike that that "showcases, each year, films from a country with a similar recent history to Lebanon".
