Irish Doc’s shot in the arm for Disney

Those smart people at Brown Bag Animation go from strength to strength

Those smart people at Brown Bag Animation go from strength to strength. The Irish company is popping champagne after its latest series, Doc McStuffins, broke all kinds of records when it screened on the Disney Channel. The episode was the most- watched ever for a weekday series debut on the station. Its launch episode also became the most-watched pre-school series in cable TV history by adults aged from 18 to 49. Eight hundred thousand viewers tuned in.

Doc McStuffins follows a spirited young girl as she comforts and heals stuffed animals from her backyard clinic. Apparently it promotes healthy living, but we won’t hold that against it. Sounds great.
