Faith No More have declared their intention to reform for a European tour. It’s likely that the San Franciscans, who formed in 1982 and split in 1998, will play a number of high-profile festival dates this summer.

Whether the influential alt.rockers will record new material is unconfirmed, but lead singer Mike Patton has composed the score for Jason Statham’s new action film,

Crank: High Voltage

, due out in April.
