DRUID Theatre Company's production of Martin McDonagh's The Beauty Queen of Leenane previews from tonight at the Royal Court Upstairs in London its director, Garry Hynes, has just been appointed an associate director of the Royal Court. The Abbey Theatre journeys to the Barbican, also in London next week with Patrick Mason's acclaimed production of Frank Me Guinness's Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Sam me. Meanwhile, Dubbeljoint, playing with Marie Jones's Women on the Verge of HRT at the Gaiety, are girding up their loins to bring both this play, and Jones's earlier A Night in November to Glasgow's Mayfest. The Passion Machine are scheduled to bring Paul Mereier's Buddleia to the Donmar Warehouse theatre's Four Corners Festival in Covent Garden, and is the first Irish company to be invited to the prestigious Kontakt Festival in Torun, Poland in May.
