The Brandon publishing house is no more, due to differences between publisher Steve Mac Donogh and his business partner, Bernie Goggin. But it seems it's a case of Brandon is dead, long live Brandon, because Mac Donogh has announced that he is opening a new publishing house, also based in Dingle. And Mount Eagle's first two titles are exactly the kind of books which distinguished Brandon: a new book from Alice Taylor, her first novel, The Woman Of The House; and Gerry Adams's first hand account of the peace process, An Irish Voice: The Quest For Peace, which spans the years from 1993 to the present.
