Mr Joe Higgins TD is a member of the Socialist Party, not the Socialist Workers' Party, as stated in the article on Sinn Fein advances on the Dail in Wednesday's editions.

The action on behalf of Ian O'Mahony, Cork, which was the subject of the report headed "Family facing £3m bill after case against consultant and hospital" in Tuesday's editions, was taken by his mother, Mrs Ann O'Mahony, not by both his parents as stated.
