A report in yesterday's editions, headed "O'Donoghue to be given Garda report into fatal shooting at Abbeylara today" stated incorrectly that the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) had criticised the RTE Prime Time programme on the shooting. The association's criticism was of another Prime Time programme on the Garda Complaints Board. The Irish Times regrets any upset caused to the association by this error.
