An article in last Saturday's editions headed "Independent buys `Belfast Telegraph' for £300m" said the Belfast Telegraph had a circulation of about 130,000. In fact, the latest ABC circulation figure for the newspaper for July-December 1999 is 117,207.
The report in yesterday's editions headed "New inquiry denied by Scotland Yard" stated that a 39-year-old man who had been questioned in connection with a breach of the Official Secrets Act was currently on police bail and would face trial in June. In fact, he is to face a further bail hearing in June.
