An article in yesterday's editions headed "European centre right claims it has 50-seat margin" was first published in the editions of June 15th under the heading "EPP to succeed Socialists as main party in assembly". The inadvertent re-publication was the result of an error in transmission from Brussels and is regretted.
A report in yesterday's editions headed "Priest in Meath cuts contribution by church to four schools" stated that Catholic education representatives had discussed increasing the "capitation fee" with the Department of Education. This should have read "capitation grant". They also indicated they might have to consider collecting the local contribution at school, rather than church, level.
The report in yesterday's editions on the Munster hurling final stated wrongly that the longest shut-out of Cork and Tipperary from the Munster championship occurred between 1932 and 1938. In fact it was between 1932 and 1936.
Saturday's supplement on the Galway Arts Festival stated that Niall Keegan, Sandra Joyce and Chris Kelly will play at An Taibhearc on Friday, July 16th. In fact they will play on Saturday July 17th, at 1.00pm.
