An advertisement in the editions of April 9th calling for a rejection of proposed changes in Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution included among its signatories the Bergen Irish Association. We have been informed by the Bergen Irish Association that it does not become involved in political issues of any kind and did not authorise its inclusion among the signatories to the advertisement.
In a report headed "Conradh backs aim to promote Irish in North" in Monday's editions, the word "best" was incorrectly substituted for "least" in a quote from the President of Conradh na Gaeilge, which should have read: "The agreement proposes the least that is acceptable, small steps towards the recognition of Irish in the Six Counties".
