A report on the recent Voices of the World concert in Rome in Monday's editions indicated that it was a "Unicef concert". Unicef states that it was not involved in any way in the planning, organising or arrangements concerning the event and that it did not give permission or agreement to use Unicef's name on the notepaper used by the organisers. It is understood that Irish choirs had been advised that Unicef would be a beneficiary but intending participants were written to before the event and advised that Unicef was no longer the beneficiary and the Unicef logo was withdrawn from the notepaper.
The Yes Campaign referred to in last Saturday's report headed "Paisley finds a new kind of enemy" is a limited company, not a registered charity as stated.
