CORK'S increasingly buoyant nightlife will receive another boost at the end of the month, with the opening of The Green Room, with a capacity for 200 revellers situated on the mezzanine of The Bodega, a new bar and restaurant in the Coal Quay area of the city.
The plan is for free style jams, with jazz musicians, singers, DJ's and performance artists working with and off each other.
Among the guests lined up is Mancunian hip hop legend, Mark Grae, DJ and owner of the famous Grand Central label. He'll be playing with Veba, an acclaimed UK soul diva. Events will be staged at The Green Room three nights a week and will be free to the public.
