ALSO tomorrow, two fairs are taking place in Newman House, Dublin, one devoted to antiques and collectables, the other to books. At the former, collectable porcelain includes a Suzy Cooper coffee set, pieces from second period Belleek and Royal Doulton. Also on offer at this fair will be a large number of Victorian watercolours, silver and jewellery, small furniture and militaria.

The book fair features a wide range of material, such as a collection of Irish political pamphlets and election posters dating from the 1950s, a selection of Irish private press publications, including The Adventures of Leithan by Douglas Hyde, and a substantial quantity of 18th and 19th century prints and maps, children's books and annuals.
