It's some game that knocks
Angry Birdsoff the top of the free games chart on iTunes, and
Bubble Balldid just that. The creation of 14-year- old Robert Nay,
Bubble Ballis simple: get the ball past the chequered flag. But it's never going to simply roll there (unless you count the first few levels). You'll have to navigate corners, large gaps and even try to get the ball to defy gravity to make it to the desired location. You have some help along the way, with different pieces and power-ups to boost you to different locations. Wooden pieces are affected by gravity; metal ones are not. You have to place and use the power-ups to push the ball in the right direction. It sounds easy but it gets very difficult very quickly. Trying to predict just how the ball will move once you're into the less straightforward levels involves a lot of trial and error. Addictive.
