THE Beatles packed the Adelphi in 1964 and any attempt to top that is doomed.
Best is a second cousin to Jo/in, George, Paul, Ringo and Bert as well as all those early rock `n' roll movies with villainous managers, gullible groups and a lot of unattached songs.
The cast makes a fair stab at the Fab Four. Peter Washington is an uncanny George Harrison look alike the rest are rather approximate. The music is extremely loud and most of the dialogue extremely flat, the best line being the one about Cynthia Lennon taking a Japanese lover.
