The successful 500 lot sale last Tuesday at Thomas P. Adams & Co of Blackrock, Dublin, saw a Victorian mahogany bedroom suite, including a two door wardrobe, dressing table and bed head and end make the auction's highest price of £3,350. A Waterford nine branch chandelier sold for £1,600, while a collection of four silhoulettes attributed to F. Frith fetched £1,450.
Among the main furniture section, a Victorian gilt and marble console table made £1,400, a Victorian mahogany bookcase fetched £1,300, a William IV rosewood mirror backed side cabinet sold for £1,250 and a 19th century writing desk made £1,200.
