Victorian overmantel mirror sold for £2,100

A large attendance at an auction conducted by Town & Country in Belgrave Square, Dublin, last Sunday helped to ensure an Irish Victorian overmantel mirror sold for £2,100 and a Victorian walnut davenport desk made £1,650. A sum of £1,420 was paid for an early Victorian rosewood circular, snap-top dining table, £1,400 was achieved for a late Victorian inlaid, square envelope mahogany fold-over card table and a Georgian mahogany brass-bound military chest went under the hammer for £1,250.
