HAVING already sold Gortskagh House in Charleville, Co Cork, local auctioneer P.J. O'Gorman will be disposing of the premises's contents in the town's community hall this afternoon, starting at 1.30 p.m.
Among the highlights of this sale are a Victorian 15-piece drawingroom suite (estimate £3,000-£5,000) and a seven-foot long hunting table (£2,800-£3,200).
A Victorian bookcase is expected to make £2,000-£3,000, as is a William IV dining table, while a mahogany inlaid grandfather clock made by Lunn of Dublin (circa 1830) carries the slightly lower estimate of £2,000-£2,500.
