LAST month's auction conducted by Lynes & Lynes at Cork's Arbutus Ledge Hotel included an Edwardian mahogany drawingroom cabinet with satinwood panels and a Georgian mahogany tallboy fitted with a secretaire, both of which sold for £2,200. The day's next best price was £2,100 for a Regency two-door cabinet with lead-lined interior, while a Regency rosewood circular dining table went for £1,900, as did both an early Victorian carved rosewood framed armchair raised on cabriole legs and an Edwardian mahogany pedestal desk.
