Win tickets to the Royal Ballet’s live cinema broadcast of Swan Lake at the Light House Cinema with dinner at Hawksmoor in Dublin

The Royal Opera House is giving one lucky subscriber a pair of tickets to the live in-cinema broadcast of the classic ballet ‘Swan Lake’ at the Light House Cinema. The winner will also enjoy Hawksmoor’s Express Menu for two people with a bottle of wine before ‘Swan Lake’ on Wednesday, April 24th.

Classical ballet’s most powerful tale of love, treachery and forgiveness returns to the Royal Opera House stage. Out hunting, Prince Siegfried chances upon a flock of swans. One among them transforms into the beautiful human Odette and he is immediately enamoured. But Odette is bound by a spell which keeps her captive as a swan during the day. Can Siegfried free her? Swan Lake remains to this day one of the best-loved works in the classical ballet canon and will be broadcast live to cinemas across Ireland on Wednesday, April 24th.

Opened since last May, Hawksmoor sensitively celebrates the handsome fabric of the former National Bank, an ornately detailed Italianate building designed by William Barnes in the mid-1840s. The restaurant is set underneath the dramatic glass-domed ceiling of the original banking hall with seating spread out between velvet-backed booths and a central bank of leather banquettes. Hawksmoor’s Express Menu is available Monday to Saturday until 6pm.

The winner will enjoy Hawksmoor’s Express Menu for two people with a bottle of wine before Swan Lake in the Light House Cinema on Wednesday, April 24th.
