A new wireless foreign exchange dealing service has been introduced by Societe Generale and Irish technology company Cognotec.

The new facility allows banks to offer their clients real-time executable foreign exchange transactions via their WAP mobile phones. Societe Generale carried out its first remote trade at Forex 2000 in Paris this week and plans to offer the service at the end of the year.
