This week's web roundup
WATCH: Flash mob dancing for the arts
WITH WHAT seems like almost daily protests on the streets, you really have to do something different if you want to get attention.
The National Campaign for the Arts certainly played to its strengths last weekend.
It managed to organise a crowd of about 800 to start dancing on Cork’s Patrick Street to ELO’s 1978 hit, Mr Blue Sky.

INSTALL: Seeing through new Windows
NOT CONTENT with a desktop and web interface, Seesmic has unveiled its native client for Windows, engineered for the platform and compatible with Windows 7.
The popular Twitter interface brings in drag-and-drop user
lists, allows you to create and save searches and lets you manage multiple Twitter accounts.
Eventually, there are plans to add extras such as being able to spell check in several languages.

DOWNLOAD: Cast a spell with your iPhone
TURN YOUR iPhone or iPod into a magic wand with a new app from Warner Bros Digital Distribution. Available from the App Store, the game allows you to use up to 14 spells, either practising by yourself or on a similarly armed opponent.
Duels can be carried out over WiFi or Bluetooth and, the more you practise, the better you get.
There’s even a league of sorts: you are “sorted” into one of the four houses at Hogwarts. Win duels and you earn house points and improve your own ranking.
