Visio International, which has its international headquarters in Dublin, has announced a 68 per cent increase in revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 1998. The supplier of diagramming and technical drawing software recorded revenues of $39.6 million, while profits for the same period increased 63 per cent to $8.8 million.
This was after a pretax charge of $7.1 million following the purchase of technology from Infomodelers. Diluted earnings per share for the period, excluding the acquisition related charge, were $0.28, a 57 per cent increase on the second quarter of 1997.
