The Irish TimesTop 1,000 Companies magazine published on June 12th the turnover figure for BAM Contractors was incorrect. Turnover for the year ended December 31st, 2007 was €470.2 million, with profit before tax of €18.5 million. Employee total was 975. These figures rank BAM Contractors at 107 in the list, rather than 161, as published. Supermacs (Holdings) was inadvertently left out of the list. It is the holding company of the Supermac fast food chain. Turnover for 2007 was €57.9 million, with profit of €1.31m. It had 609 staff. These figures rank it at 650 in our listing. The chief executive of Merrion Pharmaceuticals is John Lynch and not Tom Lynch as stated in the Top 1000 supplement. John Lynch has no previous connection with Elan as stated.
