The Credit Union Advisory Committee will act an an adviser to the Minister on matters relation to credit union.

The members are: Mr Pádraig Ó Cearbhaill, accountant, who will chair the committee; Mr Ken Lillis, director of the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Credit Union; Ms Olive McCarthy, lecturer in the centre for co-operative studies, UCC and secretary of St Gabriel's Credit Union, Cork; Mr Donal Murphy, chairman of the National Credit Union Supervisors Forum; Mr Michael O'Conaill, manager of the Clondalkin Credit Union; Ms Iris White, barrister and president of Dundrum Credit Union; and Mr Donal Tourell, of the Money Advice and Budgeting Service.
