Samsung 2 View ST700

€279.99

WHATS BETTER than a camera with one LCD screen? A camera with two: one on the back as normal, the other on the front for self portraits and photos where you’d rather get a good view of what youre photographing. Which is where Samsungs new range of cameras comes in.

Cobra PhoneTag

$60

IF YOURE in the habit of losing your keys or other valuable items on a regular basis, try out the Cobra PhoneTag. The device works like a Bluetooth lead on whatever you attach it to, linking your smartphone with your valuables.

It works with the iPhone, Android handset or Blackberry devices; once you download the application, you can attach the sensor to any item you’d rather not lose and if the item becomes separated from your phone, youll be alerted.

The software records the GPS location and the time you lost the item, sending the information to a set contact list via e-mail, text message or even Facebook and Twitter. It works both ways: you can push a button on the tag to ring your smartphone, or use the PhoneTag application to find the “tagged” item. Think of the hours cut down searching for your keys.

Kodak Pulse 10 Digital Frame

€190

USUALLY, I’M not a huge fan of digital photo frames. They just seem like a lot of effort. But the Kodak Pulse 10” Digital Frame has a unique selling point – it uses its Wi-Fi connection to keep your photos up to date through Facebook. It links to your Facebook account and connects to your photo albums; as theyre updated, so is your frame.

It also has its own e-mail address, so you can send pictures directly from your PC or smartphone to the frame, giving it an instant update. It stores a good few photos, too; as many as you can fit into 512MB. It also has a USB port and two card slots, should you want to add photos the old-fashioned (ie by hand) way.
