Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
It’s still a few weeks away from these shores, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 could just be worth the wait. The latest addition to Samsung’s tablet range, the 10.1 runs on Android’s software optimised for tablets, also known as Honeycomb, and as the name suggests, has a 10.1-inch touch screen. It’s thin and light with a textured back casing, making it easier to grip. It’s also got a front and rear-facing camera – two megapixels and eight megapixels respectively – for video conferencing, and HD recording, and has dual surround-sound speakers built in. The dual core 1 GHz processor means it runs quickly.
It looks like the Tab 10.1 will be coming to Vodafone first, and has been promised in the second quarter of the year.

Digits
$13.99
Spring may be coming, but this is Ireland so it’s probably a safe bet that the cold weather will return, which means a few more weeks of gloves. But If you have a touch-screen phone, chances are you’ve noticed it doesn’t do too well with gloves. Rather than risk frostbite, try Digits, conductive pins you can attach to your gloves. The pads are made from conductive silicon and attach to your normal wool gloves. They’re applied with small metal pins and once attached, you’ll be able to use your touch-screen device – mobile phone, music player, tablet – without having to bare your fingers to the elements. They come in packs of four.

Plantronics Voyager Pro UC
As far as Bluetooth headsets go, the Plantronics Voyager Pro UC is a great multitasker.
It can be used with a Bluetooth-enabled device such as your mobile phone – using it with the iPhone also pops up a battery gauge on screen, so you can keep on eye on how low your power is running. You can stream music to the device. Or you can plug in the minuscule Bluetooth dongle to your computer and use it for Skype or other Voice over IP applications.
As well as that, the Voyager Pro is what you’d describe as a smart headset. As soon as you remove it from your ear and lay it down, the headset transfers the audio to the handset’s speaker. You can answer a call or pause music simply by putting it on.
Most importantly, it sits comfortably in your ear, and the audio quality is impressive.
