Logitech UE 9000
€349.95
Logitech’s new headphones are not only noise cancelling, but theyre also cordless. So you can listen to your music without wires or take calls without having to lift your phone. There’s a whole lot of fancy-sounding gear in these cans – high quality codecs, advanced digital signal processing, and custom laser-tuned drivers – but all you really need to know is the end result: decent sound quality, and a wireless connection that doesn’t drop every few minutes. If you need to knock off the Bluetooth (they aren’t massive fans of wireless technology on planes, for example) you can connect the headphones to your music player with an optional cable.

Lifeproof Nüüd Case
€166
If you are accident prone, you probably don’t risk bringing your iPad anywhere near water. And rightly so – one slip and you have a rather expensive paperweight on your hands. But with the new Lifeproof Nüüd Case for iPad you can dice with danger. Dirt? Check. Dust? Sorted. How about snow or drops of up to a metre? It’s got it covered. It’s watertight, so you can safely drop your iPad in depths of two metres or for longer than 30 minutes before you start to have problems. Plenty of time to fish it out, dry it off and carry on watching your movie. Or, if you want, you can take it for an underwater photography session. The case even claims to improve your iPad’s audio.

Autographer
€TBA
The phrase “wearable tech” conjures up some bad memories around these parts. We’re long enough in the game to remember photo-frame jewellery that seemed like a good idea at the time, and other ill-advised “wearable” pieces.
But the Autographer wearable camera is a little sleeker, and has a specific purpose: it will document your life. With a 5MP camera and 8GB of storage, it uses built-in sensors, which include motion detection and GPS, to take photos for you. An app allows you to check the photos and delete the ones you don’t want. All you have to do is open the lens cover – simple, right?
