The jobs search engine, Indeed, has opened its European, Middle East and African headquarters in Dublin and plans to hire 50 new employees this year.
The technology firm has opened its new headquarters on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay in Dublin’s docklands.
The company said it was particularly keen to hire native speakers of European languages and multi-lingual candidates for sales, client services, business development, finance and operations.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said the firm was fast-growing and dynamic.
“If we are to get jobs growing again, we must not only rebuild the economy but we must also take tough decisions to target the sectors and the companies which have potential for high levels of growth in the coming years,” he said.
Established in 2004, Indeed has grown rapidly, doubling its staff year over year for the past two years. The company is now estimated to have over 60 million users worldwide, with sites in more than 50 countries and 26 languages.
Indeed currently has four offices in the US and an office in London.
